About Struthers
Mahoning County, Ohio
Struthers is a city of about 10,100 people (2020 census) on the Mahoning River in eastern Mahoning County, directly southeast of Youngstown and about 4 miles from the Pennsylvania line. It’s been called the cradle of steel, because the early Hopewell Furnace was built along Yellow Creek. John Struthers, who bought the land in 1798, first named it Marbletown. Today the city sits where State Routes 616 and 289 meet.
Struthers is about 22 miles southeast of Newton Falls as the crow flies. It’s home to Mill Creek MetroParks’ Yellow Creek Park on Lowellville Road, which is open sunrise to sunset all year. Leashed dogs are welcome on MetroParks trails, and owners are expected to pick up after them. We keep the same standard in your back yard.
Dog waste removal in Struthers
Struthers is part of our Mahoning County coverage, alongside nearby Campbell, Poland, and Boardman. You don’t need to be home: we scoop the whole yard, double-bag the waste into your trash can, latch the gate behind us, and text you a photo when we’re done.
Every visit includes a full-yard scoop, a gate check, and a free deodorizing spray-down. Want a deeper clean? Our Wysiwash sanitize + deodorize add-on kills parvo, giardia, and distemper on contact. And if we ever miss a pile, tell us within 24 hours and we’ll swing back and make it right — free. That’s the Patrol Promise.
