About Poland
Mahoning County, Ohio
Poland is a village of about 2,500 people (2020 census) in eastern Mahoning County, about 7 miles south of Youngstown. Poland Township was surveyed in 1796 as part of the Connecticut Western Reserve. In 1802, Jonathan Fowler, whose family was the first to settle the village, built an early grist mill on Yellow Creek.
Poland is about 22 miles southeast of Newton Falls as the crow flies. For dog walks, the Poland Municipal Forest is the local favorite. Its wooded trails are open dawn to dusk, and leashed dogs are welcome as long as owners pick up after them. Mill Creek MetroParks’ Yellow Creek Park is close by in neighboring Struthers. Take your dog to the Forest, and we’ll take care of the back yard.
Dog waste removal in Poland
Poland is part of our Mahoning County coverage, alongside nearby Struthers, Boardman, and Campbell. You don’t need to be home: we scoop the whole yard, double-bag the waste into your trash can, latch the gate behind us, and text you a photo when we’re done.
Every visit includes a full-yard scoop, a gate check, and a free deodorizing spray-down. Want a deeper clean? Our Wysiwash sanitize + deodorize add-on kills parvo, giardia, and distemper on contact. And if we ever miss a pile, tell us within 24 hours and we’ll swing back and make it right — free. That’s the Patrol Promise.
