About Streetsboro

Portage County, Ohio

Streetsboro is a city of about 17,300 people (2020 census) in western Portage County. Titus Street of Connecticut bought the township land in 1798. The old Portage Trail, used by the Seneca to travel between Lake Erie and the Ohio River basin, crosses the southwest corner of the city. Streetsboro is about 20 miles west of Newton Falls as the crow flies, at the western edge of our service area.

Streetsboro is a great town for dogs. The city’s 108-acre Thomas Heritage Park on Route 303 has a fenced dog park with separate areas for large and small dogs. Owners can let their dogs off leash and relax on benches inside the play area. The Portage Park District’s Trail Lake Park on Ravenna Road has a paved loop trail around a lake. After a day at the dog park, let us take care of the back yard.
