About Howland
Trumbull County, Ohio
Howland Township is home to about 19,000 people (2020 census) and is one of only two urban townships in Trumbull County, along with Liberty. It’s named for the Howland family. Joseph Howland, a descendant of Mayflower passenger John Howland, bought the township from the Connecticut Land Company in 1795, and the first settler arrived in 1799. Howland is the only Howland Township in Ohio. It’s about 11 miles east of Newton Falls as the crow flies.
For dog walks close to home, Howland Township Park is the entry point to the Howland Wildlife Preserve and the Mosquito Creek Boardwalk Trail. Howland borders Vienna Township to the east, and Champion Township touches its northwest corner. Since it sits between Warren, Cortland, Vienna, and Niles, it fits right into our routes.
Dog waste removal in Howland
Howland sits between Warren, Cortland, Vienna, and Niles, all towns we already serve, so adding your yard to the route is easy. You don’t need to be home. We latch the gate behind us and text you a photo after every visit.
Every visit includes a full-yard scoop, a gate check, and a free deodorizing spray-down. Want a deeper clean? Our Wysiwash sanitize + deodorize add-on kills parvo, giardia, and distemper on contact. And if we ever miss a pile, tell us within 24 hours and we’ll swing back and make it right — free. That’s the Patrol Promise.
